Resident golf professional Gordon Young, who has lived in Portugal for twelve years since arriving from his native Scotland, is delighted to offer golf lessons to either individuals or groups.
Gordon has found that a holiday in Portugal need not only be a series of beaches, museums, bars etc, but also a chance to engage in new activities. Golf lessons at Estoril (20km from the centre of Lisbon) could be the perfect compliment to your stay in Portugal.
Gordon´s philosophy in teaching golf is that it is a simple game for complex people. Moving a ball from here to there by propelling it with a club is a task easy to comprehend, but when you explore all that surrounds and affects this undertaking you have quite another matter indeed! This is why golf at Estoril is tailored to suit the individual, whatever their skill level.
Teaching in the practice of playing is complemented with Gordons passion for the history of the game, its character and philosophy. So expect to see both an improvement in the quality of your game, and also to come away with a greater understanding of golfs history, all delivered with Gordons well known sense of humour.
Gordon offers golf instruction at Estoril everyday except Sundays at a price of 20 Euros per half hour, whether you are alone or in a group. Equipment is provided if necessary and if needed a courtesy car can take you from your residence to the golf club at no extra cost.
